Exfoliate & Slough Away Dead Skin

The skin is a protective barrier constantly exposed to external elements and pollutants. Your skin is regularly barraged by UV rays, environmental pollutants, oil residue, bacteria, and injuries, leading to an irregular and dull complexion. Every once in a while, your skin needs a polish to remove the dead and damaged skin cells, paving the way for new, healthy skin cells to arise. We offer chemical peels to exfoliate dead skin cells and revitalize your complexion.

What are Chemical Peels?

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to remove the uppermost layers of dead and damaged skin. Peels use an acidic solution to break down the bonds between dead skin cells. This process can be gentle or more aggressive, depending on the type of product used and penetration depth. Chemical peels can reduce wrinkles, acne, scarring, uneven skin tone, and other concerns.

Chemical Peels Can Correct:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin laxity
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Brown spots
  • Age spots
  • Sunspots
  • Melasma
  • Acne scarring
  • Acne breakouts
  • Textural irregularities
  • Other skin concerns

Benefits of Chemical Peels:

  • Non-invasive skin rejuvenation techniques
  • Sloughs away years of accumulated dead and damaged skin
  • Improved overall skin tone and texture
  • Revitalizes your skin complexion
  • Reverses the signs of aging and sun damage
  • Almost painless treatment with minimal discomfort
  • Resume daily activities and work immediately
  • Personalized according to your skin type and conditions

The Complete Chemical Peel Process

During a chemical peel, a unique chemical solution is applied to the skin and left for some time to allow them to work on your skin. The chemicals gradually break the bonds holding your skin cells together to facilitate their eventual removal. The solution is eventually removed, and the skin is rinsed with water. After the peel, your skin will be red and sensitive for a few days. Your skin may start peeling after a few days, and your skin will look radiant.

Chemical Peels: Aftercare Guidelines

  • Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks following the peel. If you must go outdoors, wear sunscreen with a high SPF and a hat.
  • Do not use any exfoliating products or have any other treatments done on your skin.
  • Avoid picking or scratching at the skin.
  • Apply a moisturizer regularly to keep the skin hydrated.
  • Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours following the peel.
  • Do not use products that contain retinoids or glycolic acid for at least two weeks.
